Parade of Pronghorns
Community Art • Local History • Lasting Impact
Pronghorn antelope are as much a part of Campbell County as wide skies and rolling plains. They’re fast, resilient, and uniquely ours. That’s why the Rockpile Museum Association is launching the Parade of Pronghorns — a one-of-a-kind community art project and fundraiser that celebrates our heritage through creativity.
The Project
Ten life-size fiberglass pronghorn sculptures are on their way to Gillette. Each will be transformed by a local or regional artist into a work of art that reflects the spirit of northeast Wyoming. Once completed, the pronghorns will be displayed throughout Gillette and Campbell County, turning familiar spaces into a community-wide art gallery.
At the end of the exhibition, all pronghorns will be auctioned at a finale event, with proceeds benefiting the Rockpile Museum Association and its mission of preserving the history and culture of our region.
Why It Matters
- Support Local Artists: Each sponsorship provides a stipend so artists can dedicate their time and creativity to this project.
- Celebrate Community Pride: Public art creates joy, sparks conversation, and draws people together.
- Preserve Our History: Proceeds support the Rockpile Museum Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to keeping northeast Wyoming’s stories alive.
- Gain Visibility: Sponsors will be recognized on plaques, in media coverage, and at events throughout the project.
How You Can Help
We are inviting businesses, organizations, and individuals to underwrite this project. Sponsorship doesn’t mean purchasing a pronghorn — it means fueling the art, the artists, and the community pride behind it.
Sponsorship Levels
- $2,000 – Pronghorn Underwriter (exclusive, 10 available)
- $1,000 – Antelope Ally
- $500 – Artist Patron
- Other Amount – Community Contributor
Every gift helps us bring this vision to life. Only ten pronghorns are available, and sponsorships will fill quickly. Commitments made by October 31, 2025 will be included in early marketing and matched with artists.
Join us in making the Parade of Pronghorns a landmark project for Campbell County. Together, we’ll celebrate art, history, and the community spirit that makes this place home.
